Registration

  • Fee is per person. Must be at least 9 years old for a Double; 12 years old for a single
  • Fee is per person. Must be at least 9 years old for double kayak; 12 years old for single kayak
To register another person, after confirming each registration, but before paying, return to the Event Page to register another person.

For Ages 9 years to adult

Participants must be at least 9 years old to accompany an adult in a double kayak, and at least 12 years old to ride in a single kayak. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Enjoy the sunset on the Patuxent River. We’ll meet at Nan’s Cove kayak launch off Broome’s Island Road.

Reservations and payment are required in advance -  Please register before: May 19

Fee is per person. 

$15 for Society members
$30 for nonmembers. 
$5 per person if you provide your own kayak.

Due to the limited number of kayaks, we may not be able to accommodate your kayak preference. There is a chance that the demand for kayaks exceeds our capacity. If we are unable to fit you into the trip, you will receive a full refund.

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
