Registration is closed

For ages 12-16

Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park

Join us for a campout at Flag Ponds while we watch the Quadrantids Meteor Shower. These meteors were formed by the remnants of an old comet. We will have a campfire and go on a night time nature hike as well.

Dinner and snack provided Saturday and breakfast provided Sunday.  Tents provided – must have own sleeping bag.

Packing list and other trip info will be provided.

Naturalist in charge: Gene Groshon

Fee per child: Society members pay $25 per person.
Nonmembers pay $40.

Each child must be registered separately.

Registration deadline: Monday, Dec 30

(Maximum number of campers: 8)

 

 

 

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
