  • New volunteers welcome.

Registration is closed
For teens or adults, ages 15 and up.

We are always looking for an extra hand to take care of the nature center's live animals.  As you accompany staff, you will learn how to clean cages, feed the animals and handle them.  If you are only available for a portion of the three hours, please sign up anyhow; your help with this much-needed service is always welcome.   Once you are trained, you will be able to sign up to care for the animals as often as you'd like.

Trained volunteers are welcome to register too.  They can help train new volunteers and can help hold the raptors while the naturalist trims talons, etc.

Naturalist in charge: Shannon Steele
