Ages 12-16 years, adult participation not required

Bringing your own food and water on your outdoor adventure is always the best way to go, but it can be fun to explore the wild edible plants of our area, too. In this class, teens will hike thru forest, meadow, and wetland to discover how to identify plants that are safe to eat – and most especially those that are not. We will also discuss how to find water that is safe to drink.

Location: Biscoe Gray Heritage Farm

Program Fee is per person:

  • Free for Society members
  • $8 per person for nonmembers
