For Ages 3 to 5 years

Why is winter called “Old Man”? We’ll look at the legends that surround our natural world. Bundle up in your warmest winter clothes to explore the park and find out where winter gets its nickname. Don’t forget your hats and gloves!

Location: King's Landing Park

These programs introduce youngsters to the many wonders of our natural environment through stories, puppets, songs and outdoor hands-on activities.

Adult participation is required

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
