Nature Tykes: Tree Huggers

For Ages 18 months to 3 years

The trees are bare of leaves, which is the best time to look at bark and branches. We’ll go outside and hug some trees to find out how each bark feels and try to identify a tree by its bark.

Location: Battle Creek Cypress Swamp

This discovery program allows the child to experience nature with their parent through the use of their senses and motion.
