    Fee is per child; may be paid on day of the event.

Patuxent Kids: Woodsy Walk

For Ages 3 to 5 years

Baby it’s cold outside but don’t hibernate! This is a wonderful time of year to look at trees and their beautiful bark. Can you tell a maple tree from an oak tree? Join the ranger on a woodsy adventure as we discover trees during a brisk walk in the winter woods!

Location: King's Landing Park

These programs introduce youngsters to the many wonders of our natural environment through stories, puppets, songs and outdoor hands-on activities.

Adult participation is required

Reservations are required. Register by mail, email or by phone 410-535-5327. 

Online payment of Program Fee is not yet available.

Program Fee is per child; may be paid by mail, in person, or on day of event.

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
