Owl Walk and Talk

Registration

We'll have our own private after-hours visit to the Battle Creek Cypress Swamp Nature Center where naturalist Andy Brown will provide a short presentation on the owls of our region and then take us on a quarter mile walk along the swamp boardwalk to search for the owl residents of the preserve. With some luck and patience we will get to hear them calling and maybe even see one up close. The Nature Center will be open at 6:30 if you would like to spend some time with the live animal exhibits.

Space is limited to 25 participants. For older teens and adults.

Dress warmly and bring a flashlight. 

Program Fee, per person: BCNES members: Free; Nonmembers: $8

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
