Natures Explorers: All About Our Moon

For Ages 6 to 9  years

Have you ever wondered why the moon appears to change shape or why the moon affects the tides? Join a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador at the education building where he will share his excitement of the universe with you through fun, hands-on indoor activities about the moon, including an edible moon activity. We will end with a trip outdoors for a telescopic view of our natural satellite in its first quarter phase.

Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park

These programs allow student to investigate firsthand the life found in and around our area.

Adult participation is encouraged, but not required..

Reservations are required. Register online by mail, email or by phone 410-535-5327.

Fee is per child; may be paid by mail, in person, or on day of event. On-line payment of program fees is not yet available.

$1 for BCNES members
$3 for nonmembers
