Did you know? Worldwide, approximately 1,000 plants grown for food, beverages, fibers, spices, and medicines need to be pollinated by animals in order to produce the goods on which we depend.

Bring your family to learn about some of the native pollinators at Battle Creek Cypress Swamp. We will look at the bees in our hive inside the nature center, and then head outside to look high and low in our garden for butterflies and beetles. Bring your camera, because there are sure to be lots of pollinators to take pictures of!
