Indian Landscapes near Battle Creek (16 year-Adult)

  • Members of the Archeological Society of Maryland may register for free.

For 16 years- Adults

Join a naturalist and archaeologist for a hike to an Indian site at Biscoe Gray Heritage Farm. The route will cover a variety of landscapes and participants will learn about changes in the land and people on the land over several centuries. Bring a bag lunch and wear comfortable walking shoes. The hike is on natural surface trails over uneven terrain and is not accessible for wheelchairs or strollers. This program is part of Calvert County’s celebration of Maryland Archaeology Month.

Location: We will meet at the Battle Creek Cypress Swamp for a brief orientation, then travel a short distance to the Biscoe Gray Heritage Farm

Fee is per person.
Free for BCNES & ASM members
$8 for nonmembers
