Ages 12-16 years

From a one-person emergency shelter to a bigger, long-term structure - knowing how to create your own shelter could come in handy. Join friends new and old to learn about different types of shelters, what materials to use, and put then put that knowledge to practice.

Location: Kings Landing Park, meet at Wisner Hall

Bring water, a snack, and a lunch. Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty.

Fee per person: Free for BCNES members; $8 per person for nonmembers.

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
