Donate to Support Your Nature Parks

We are updating the nature center exhibits. Consider a donation to support the new Ambassador Animal enclosures, Monarchs & Meadows, and Nature at Night soundscape. 

Your donation directly supports our programs and activities

  • $500 supports our efforts to preserve and protect land in Calvert County
  • $250 supports participation of at-need children in summer camps
  • $150 supports research projects at our parks (including the Adopt an Owl program)
  • $100 provides materials for volunteer projects in the parks
  • $50 builds a strong community for our nature parks
  • Any amount directly funds the excellent nature education programs for Calvert County's  nature parks

Your gift will help us move into the future ... to protect our lands and waters and to educate and inspire through nature.
  • Nature Center Exhibits: Donations will support the restoration and enhancements to the exhibits  that were damaged in the 2022 fire.
  • Keim Forest Campaign: Support our efforts to preserve this 107-acre woodland and further protect Battle Creek Cypress Swamp.
  • Land Protection Fund: Support the protection and acquisition of natural spaces in Calvert.
  • Student Intern Endowment: Support opportunities for local youth to get involved with the parks.
  • Research Programs: Support for park research projects including reptile and bird monitoring projects. Learn more here.

Donations may be given as memorials and in honor of special people or occasions.
