Summer Camp: It's a Wild, Wet, World

For children entering grades 1-2 in Fall 2018

Monday, July 9 -Thursday, July 12, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Campers will investigate some of the many water habitats of Calvert County.  Together we will explore a pond, a stream, a swamp, and the Chesapeake Bay searching for fish, amphibians, reptiles, insects, and other organisms that depend on water.  We will conduct experiments to discover how the properties of water benefit plants, animals, and humans.  Other activities include hikes, games, and journaling.

Monday and Tuesday – Battle Creek Cypress Swamp
Wednesday and Thursday – Flag Ponds Nature Park

Fee per camper: 
Members: $120
Nonmembers: $150
