Rental of Park Facilities
The Division of Natural Resources makes facilities available for private events in two of the county's nature parks.
Conference Room

Special Considerations: The Conference Room is used for education programs, so availability is contingent on programs scheduled. The Conference Room is located in the Nature Center, which is open to the public.
Typical events include meetings, workshops and trainings.

Groups may not engage in profit-making activities and selling of merchandise.
(a) A person may not utilize the park for conducting private instruction or lessons for which a fee is charged unless the program is conducted either by the County or by permit.
(b) For-profit business activities are prohibited.
(c) A group permitted to use a park facility may not charge a fee to enter the park or facility.
(d) A person may not sell anything in a park except with permission.
(e) Soliciting or asking the public or county employees for contributions is prohibited

Fees: $500, plus $100 (refundable if no damages or rule infractions)

Special Considerations: Beer and wine allowed pending approval from County.

Bathrooms: (Except Wisner Hall)
Bathrooms are winterized between November and April. Groups must make arrangements for delivery and pick up of port-a-johns for their group.
