For children entering grades 6-8 grade in fall 2022

Take your interest in birds to the next level with this camp. From the forest to the shore we will be learning about the many species of birds that call our area home. We will teach you how to identify birds by their song and appearance. This year we will also be collecting data for the breeding bird survey. You will also get the chance to observe a bird banding research project. Bring your binoculars and your camera for a fun adventure.

Calvert Nature Society reserves the right to modify and/or change camp program activities and structure based on health, safety, and other variable factors.

Fee per camper:

Society members: $120
Nonmembers: $150

COVID Policies and Procedures

The Calvert Nature Society has developed policies and procedures for public program operations based on state and CDC guidelines.

• All participants over the age of 2 (including parents) are recommended to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible. Participants must provide their own masks.
• Please consider the safety, health, and well-being of all participants in our programs and stay home if the participant is ill. Full refunds will be given for cancellations due to health concerns. 
• Prior to participation in any Society sponsored program,  we will ask each individual (if under 18 a parent) to complete a participant waiver.

Please download and complete the waiver prior to the program. Please print it and bring to the program. The waiver needs to be completed for each in-person program.
