iNaturalist Workshop

Those under 18 are welcome with adult participation

In this workshop, you'll learn how to use iNaturalist to photograph and map your observations in a few easy steps. You'll learn about the various projects that can use your observation, how to verify other observations, and other basic features of the iNaturalist app.

Come by anytime between 10 am-1 pm.

Location: Battle Creek Cypress Swamp

To prepare for the training, please bring a fully charged smart phone with the iNaturalist app installed. Don't forget to set up your iNaturalist account. If you don't know how to do this, Karyn will show you how at the workshop.

Who are Calvert Stewards? They are the volunteer corps of the Calvert Nature Society and the Calvert County Natural Resources Division. More information can be found on the Calvert Stewards Volunteer Page.

Effective on March 11, 2022, during programs sponsored by Calvert Nature Society held indoors or when held outdoors where physical distancing of at least 3 feet cannot be maintained it is highly recommended for participants to wear a mask or face covering. The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
