We will meet at the parking lot closest to the Park Office at 10am.

This will be a 2 part hike, the first loop is about 2 miles, and the second loop adds another mile. Participant have the option to end their hike after the first loop or continue on. All ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Ring in the new year with an approximately 2 mile guided hike at Ward Farm Park. A naturalist will share information about the site as the group enjoys being outdoors on the first day of 2023.

This hike is NOT stroller friendly, but infants and toddlers in backpacks are welcome.

Advanced registration recommended.

The Calvert Nature Society has developed policies and procedures for public program operations based on state and CDC guidelines.

Please consider the safety, health, and well-being of all participants in our programs and stay home if the participant(s) are ill. Full refunds will be given for cancellations due to health concerns.

Prior to participation in any Society sponsored program, we will ask each individual, if under 18 a parent, to agree to the participant waiver. The waiver agreement needs to be completed for each in-person program.
