For students ages 12-16 years old

Our spring Teen Homeschool classes will be a 3-part series on kayaking and the ecology of the Patuxent River and its tributaries. Each month we will go out in kayaks to explore the river and the areas around it. We will use nets, water quality equipment, and our own senses to learn more about the river and the plants and animals that call it home.

We expect the teen to attend all three sessions.

No parent needed, participants must be AT LEAST 12 years old

Please consider the safety, health, and well-being of all participants in our programs and stay home if the participant(s) are ill. Full refunds will be given for cancellations due to health concerns.

Prior to participation in any Society sponsored program, we will ask each individual, if under 18 a parent, to agree to the participant waiver. The waiver agreement needs to be completed for each in-person program.
