Volunteer Day of Service at King Memorial Park 

Volunteers ages 10 and up are needed to help tidy up our garden beds at Kings Memorial Park in the Prince Frederick Town Center. We will be weeding, trimming and pulling invasive plants in preparation for replanting with native plants this fall. Participants will get the opportunity to learn about the importance of controlling invasive and selecting natives for their own gardening projects, as well as learn to identify several common invasive plants.

Adults and youth ages 10+ welcome, youth 15 and under must have an adult present. This is a great event for service groups!! Service hours are available. Walk ins welcome!

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
