Spotted Salamander Celebration

Registration is closed

For all ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Every spring, Spotted Salamanders can be found making their way toward fresh water to mate and lay their eggs. In this program we will learn about and search for these incredible amphibians. Please note that this program includes a one mile hike on uneven terrain and is not stroller-friendly.

Location: Flag Ponds Nature Park

Free for Society members
$8 per family for nonmembers

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
