For all ages

Every spring many species of birds will be migrating to their breeding grounds and pass through our parks. We will go on a hike to see what warbler species are stopping by along their journey. Birders of all ages and experience are welcome!

Location: Battle Creek Cypress Swamp

Walk ins allowed but registration preferred by 4/14/2025


Program Fee

Free for Society members
$8 per family for nonmembers

Naturalist in charge: Gene Groshon

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
