For adults and families with children ages 5 & up

The Great American Campout is part of the National Wildlife Federation's efforts to get people outdoors and in touch with nature. Spend an evening with us participating in fun campground games, cook dinner and s'mores over a campfire, and enjoy a cozy night under the stars.

Location: Kings Landing Park

Advanced Reservations are required - Please register by: June 14

Program Fee per family

$50 for Society members
$80 for nonmembers

Naturalist in charge: Kim Curren

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
