Trails and Tales - May Book Club (Young Readers Edition)

For adults and families with children ages 8 & up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Join our monthly hiking book club, Trails and Tales. We will read a new book every month and discuss it while hiking at one of our beautiful Calvert County parks. Meetings are the last Saturday of the month.

Our May book selection is "Wishtree" by Katherine Applegate, and we will be hiking at Kings Landing Park. "Wishtree" is a young readers book, appropriate for ages 8-11, with a lexile level of 590L. Children ages 8 & up are welcome to join us for this special edition of our monthly book club.

Program Fee

Free for Society members
$8 per person for nonmembers

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
