Registration opens March 3 for members (both online and paper).
Members Only Registration until March 17.

To be eligible for Member's Rates, you must be a current member AND your email must match that found in our on-line membership database.
If you are a member and can't register as a member, please email Anne Sundermann (anne@calvertparks.org) call the office 410-535-5327 to verify your email and contact information.
Registration is closed
For Children entering grades 4-6

Mon: Flag Ponds Nature Park  9am-3pm
Tues: Kings Landing Park  9am-3pm
Wed: Battle Creek Cypress Swamp 9am-3pm
Thurs: Flag Ponds Nature Park 9am-3pm
Fri: Flag Ponds Nature Park 9am-3pm followed by a potluck feast and photography exhibit.

Immerse yourself in nature as you capture the wonders of Calvert County Parks on camera.  In addition to the typical fun camp activities, you will learn camera basics and picture-taking tips, and will have a blast exploring the bay, the river, the cypress trees, and much, much more.  There will be endless opportunities to photograph wildflowers and animals, including special appearances by the nature center's live animal collection. 

After camp on Friday families are invited to a potluck feast to celebrate and admire campers' work. 

Campers are required to provide their own digital camera.

Fee per person:BCNES members pay $150; nonmembers pay $180

Programs have staggered registration dates. We advertise programs before registration opens which is why you may see that registration is closed, yet there are spaces available.  See details >

The schedule of events is subject to changed based on the status of the coronavirus response, weather, staffing, and other situations that may arise. If Calvert Nature Society or Calvert County Natural Resources Division cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
